  DAY THIRTEEN - - 5TH SEPTEMBER -- WELLINGTON

Today was freezing and windy too so the perfect day to visit the Paka museum. We walked down to the waterfront and visited a tourist information centre then on to the museum. Love the lights here..red is someone doing the Dhaka (not all signs though!)

Some sights from our walk.

In the tourist information centre!

I would say this is the best thing I've ever seen in a museum. If you look at the photo that has Gary in it you can see the scale of the models. They were life like in every detail. These are stories of real people who served at Gallipoli.

The nature display was so well don't too with so many hands on interactive things for everyone (adults included) to see.

Then a walk down to the bottom entrance of the Wellington cable car, a trip to the top and down again. Walking back to our motel I don't think Ive ever felt so cold! Hopped into the bed with the electric blanket on full bore!.
Takeway Thai for dinner.
