DAY FOURTEEN -- WELLINGTON

Having the extra day in Wellington and because it is so cold we made an unscheduled booking at the Weka cave. Im so happy we didn't miss it. Although Im not a devotee of fantasy or science fiction learning about   the authentic prop, armour, weapons, costumes and miniatures was fascinating.

In the afternoon I rested/watched TV and had a lazy time. Gary and Henry went to the Main Wellington Museum. Henry took photos for me of the Wanganella...the ship my grandfather (Dad's dad) worked on for many years.
